THE INTERLUDE
The silence is part of the transmission.
Soft Reset arrives after the system has said too much. It does not argue with the noise. It lets the noise lose oxygen.
The piano is not a warning, a countdown, or a command. It is the first small shape that becomes visible when the fog begins to lift. Every note leaves enough room for the listener to notice their own breathing.
“You’re still here” is not triumph shouted over the wreckage. It is recognition spoken softly enough that the nervous system can believe it. “Begin again” does not erase what happened. It returns choice to the person who survived it.
The track does not wake you by making more noise. It becomes quiet enough for you to hear yourself returning.
