Track 01 · Chapter I · Conditioning

DeadscrollAnthem

The loop learns your thumb before you notice the loop. A transmission from inside the feed, where attention is harvested, identity is performed, and the signal eventually begins staring back.

01

attention containment simulator

The feed watches back.

This is a visual metaphor, not a real device scan. It models the track’s central pressure: every pause becomes data, every reaction becomes prediction, and every attempt to leave becomes another chance to retain you.

condition report

A system built to feel like instinct.

Deadscrolling is not reduced to a generational joke or a personal failure. The track examines a cross-generational architecture that monetizes attention, manufactures validation, and rewards people for slowly disappearing into performance.

system diagnostic

Attention

Extracted

The system does not need your belief. It only needs your return.

system diagnostic

Identity

Performed

The self becomes what can survive compression into a post.

system diagnostic

Connection

Simulated

Recognition arrives quickly, but presence never fully loads.

Exit route

Still open

The loop is engineered, not eternal. Interruption remains possible.

The first song became the first warning.

The idea formed during the viral rise of the “Gen Z Stare,” but the song immediately revealed something larger than one generation. It became the inception point for CTRL ALT RESET: the first signal in an album about digital conditioning, exhaustion, identity, and the possibility of disconnecting before the loop becomes the self.

“You stared too long. Now the signal stares back.”

01

The feed is not passive.

The song begins after the interface has already learned the body. Blinking slows. Thumb movement becomes automatic. What feels like wandering is shaped into a corridor whose exits are always one more swipe away.

02

Visibility imitates connection.

Deadscroll Anthem does not mock the need to be seen. It exposes the system that converts that need into inventory—turning confession, loneliness, humor, outrage, and grief into measurable performance.

03

The exit restores authorship.

The final command is not disappearance. Powering down creates enough silence to remember that a person existed before the profile, and remains real where no metric can verify them.

central thesis

The person is not the data extracted from them. The profile is not the whole self. Visibility is not proof of life, and silence is not disappearance.

Lyrics archive

The page begins inside containment, but the lyric structure keeps creating pressure toward an exit. By the outro, the effects are removed and the person is addressed without mediation.

INTRO

distorted signal · low whispers

You stared too long. Now the signal stares back.

This is not connection. This is containment.

Transmission from the Everywhen… begins now.

VERSE 1

the feed closes around the listener

You blinked less and scrolled more

Fed the feed ‘til it fed on you

Eyes wide, souls offline

Trying to feel real through a For You view

Doomscroll dreams dressed as fame

Chasing likes like they whisper your name

Tapped and tracked, caught in decay

The system claps while you look away

CHORUS

anthemic · the warning becomes communal

Deadscroll Anthem – Gen Z Stare like static stun

Sold your soul for a screen and called it fun

Deadscroll Anthem – dopamine laced with dread

You post your pain, and hope it's read

Deadscroll Anthem – you viral, but not awake

The system’s laughing at every take you fake

Deadscroll Anthem – caught in a crafted decay

This isn’t life, it’s looped dismay

VERSE 2

the command sequence becomes visible

Swipe. Like. Loop. Obey.

You forgot how silence used to play

Gen Z glare — that haunted glow

Stuck in a show where you never grow

Locked inside, trained to stream

You forgot how it feels to dream

Burned out? That was the plan

Eyes on the prize while you melt in your hand

CHORUS II

repeat to drive it deeper

Deadscroll Anthem – Gen Z Stare like static stun

Sold your soul for a screen and called it fun

Deadscroll Anthem – dopamine laced with dread

You post your pain, and hope it's read

Deadscroll Anthem – you viral, but not awake

The system’s laughing at every take you fake

Deadscroll Anthem – caught in a crafted decay

This isn’t life, it’s looped dismay

BRIDGE

vocoded voice · time slowed

You used to look up... now you refresh the sky

You don’t live — you upload why

Ghost in the grid, can’t log out

This was never what it was all about

BREAKDOWN

minimal beat · ambient static swell

They took your attention.

Then they sold it back to you…

Chopped. Filtered. Packaged.

You’ve been performing your own erasure.

But there’s still time to exit.

FINAL CHORUS

power version · drums return in full

Deadscroll Anthem – Gen Z Stare won’t blink, just burn

Sold your future for the clout you yearned

Deadscroll Anthem – numbed out in a neon trance

Begged the void for a second chance

Deadscroll Anthem – one more post before collapse

Trapped inside their dopamine traps

Deadscroll Anthem – disconnect, reclaim your name

Before you fade inside the frame

OUTRO

clear voice · no effects

You are not your algorithm.

You are not your followers.

You are not what they mined from you.

Power it down.

Step outside.

And remember what it’s like…

To look without trying to be seen.

exit protocol · no performance required

Look without trying to be seen.

You are not your algorithm. You are not your followers. You are not what they mined from you. The final movement of Deadscroll Anthem does not ask the listener to become invisible. It asks them to become present again.
